Hi Prospective CBIPs
 
Just for an update – My plan is to cover each section of IT Core exam (I will cover IT Core first then move to other exams) every day. You can also plan to study each section every day and please comment below if you feel to edit or update any information.
It’s just reference information to cover most of the topics of the exam and you can search these topics in detail for study.

Today’s topics of study are:

IT and Non-IT specific Frameworks
IT
  • AS8015-2005 Australian Standard for Corporate Governance of Information and Communication Technology
  • ISO/IEC 38500:2008
  • COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and related Technology)
  • ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library

Non-IT

  • The Balanced Scorecard (BSC)
  • TOGAF - The Open Group Architectural Framework

    Hi Prabjot - I've just come across your blog while investigating the CBIP. It is a pity that you haven't gotten any responses from folks! The material you put together for IS Core looks extremely helpful. As you've noted, there isn't a very clear direction for how to best prepare for this exam. I know that you haven't posted anything in detail for the DW exam, but do you recall any major focus areas or places to go for good study material? Thanks for all of your help and for putting such comprehensive notes together for IS!
